I did alot of walking up and down 6th street and they were not horribly uncomfortable at all. They were great!

I read some of the other reviews and was a little scared that they wouldn't fit my legs. I am 5'10" tall and weigh 140, and there was actually room left when I zipped them up. I was going to wait to wear them with my halloween costume, but I couldn't wait! I wore them out over the weekend, and they never hurt my feet after hours of dancing! I definitely recommend these boots!

A half-size or whole size up might be worth it. The boot was hard to zip and I do not have "thick" calves by any stretch of the imagination. It took a bit of elbow grease and my batting gloves to accomplish the task. The boot (shaft?) seemed to be designed more for tweens or size 4 models than for a rockin' grown-up chick singer. But I love them. I just need to give myself time to get in them. :)

Be careful if you have larger calves or ankles. I'm pretty skinny, and I could just barely zip them up. Also, if you're short, expect them to come up higher than you calf. I'm 5-foot-4-inches tall and they come up all the way to the bottoms of my knees, but they still look good.

The boots by Ellie (SGOGO) look great but I was very disappointed when they did not fit my calves--too small. Now I have to return them at my expense. It would be helpful if BuyCostumes gave the calf measurement for these boots and the Wide Width boots they offer (Product ID:38905). It's not clear that the Wide Width refers to the calf measurement.

These boots were comfortable and still worked with the costume. I may even wear them for everyday life with a longer skirt for work.

She's worn them out since and plans to do so more. The material appears and feels to be of good quality, the zipper is rugged (a lot of other boots at the same price tend to use shoddy materials and cheap parts), and it wears quite nicely. We were quite suprised to find such a fantastic pair of boots on this site and if everything else is of the same quality...call us consistent shoppers here.
